About Ibiza Jazz Fest 

Jazz Point Ibiza, an international jazz festival in Ibiza, Spain, was established in 2020 by the Ibiza Music Agency in collaboration with J. Chriss & Co. NYC. 2024 marked the fifth annual celebration of Jazz Point Ibiza. The festival is dedicated to presenting both renowned international jazz legends and emerging talents at prestigious venues across the enchanting island of Ibiza. Its mission is to give back to the Ibiza community and to preserve and promote the cultural significance of jazz music for future generations.

With 25 years of experience in music and entertainment management and over 30 years of residency in Ibiza, the Ibiza Music Agency offers a comprehensive selection of local and international artists from its Ibiza offices. The agency specializes in providing live music, DJs, and entertainment for private and corporate events, supplying live entertainment for five-star hotels in Ibiza, and producing the annual international Jazz Festival “Jazz Point Ibiza.”

About the Hamptons Jazz Festival 

The Hamptons Jazz Festival has showcased the best in jazz, pop, blues, soul, and R&B for 50 years, with each year surpassing the last in excitement. The event is presented in partnership with Hampton University, the City of Hampton, and the Santangelo Group, Inc.

Joel Chriss - Founder 

Joel Chriss is a veteran jazz booking agent, concert promoter, and founding member of Jazz Point Ibiza. Head of J. Chriss & Co. in New York, he has worked with top artists including Joe Lovano and Randy Brecker. Now based in the Hamptons, he serves as artistic director of the Hamptons Jazz Festival & Jazz Point Ibiza., bringing his deep industry ties to create a thriving jazz scene on Long Island’s East End and in Ibiza’s finest venues.

Adam Lenox – Founder

Born in Greenwich Village, New York, Adam Lenox grew up immersed in music, working alongside legends like Dave Liebman, Gerardo Velez, Lenny Kaye, César Diaz, and Steve Missal. In 1988, he moved to Berlin, where he combined music and multimedia, creating soundscapes for the World Expo 2000 and major corporate and cultural events across Germany.In 2003, he founded Brooklyn Bridge, a European event band, before relocating to Ibiza in 2008. There, he launched Ibiza Music Agency, later partnering with David Moss and founding Lenox Lounge, an Ibiza-based event band. In 2020, his agency joined forces with J. Chriss & Co. to establish Ibiza Jazz Point, an international jazz festival that continues to bring world-class musicians to the island.From New York’s underground scene to Berlin’s creative renaissance and Ibiza’s vibrant music culture, Adam has spent a lifetime shaping unforgettable musical experiences.

David Moss - Founder 

Graduating from the University of Colorado in Small Business Administration, David worked for 5 years, as a managing partner in a fire prevention sprinkler systems company called National Sprinkler Corp. in New York. They installed systems in high-rise buildings such as the Merrill Lynch building in Wall Street, 1 Penn Plaza in midtown, 1166 6th Ave building and many others. I also managed installations at Studio 54, Tavern on the Green, amongst many others. After 5 years, 1984, David moved to Ibiza Spain where he built 100,000 Sq. ft. of warehouse space, in several phases, to be sold in individual units. In 1995, he joined Digital Grafic Ibiza as a partner. They published a full color, residents guide of home services, in 3 languages. I soon he bought out his partner and continued creating island guides and websites.  

In 2013, David joined IbizaMusicAgency.com as a partner, supplying entertainment for private, corporate and hotel events. In 2020, days before Covid closed down Spain, they launched the first edition of Jazz Point Ibiza festival. 

Deborah Sass - Investor relations 

Ibiza-based sisters Serene and Deborah Sass have joined the advisory board for the Hamptons Jazz Fest and its sister event, Ibiza Jazz Fest (formerly known as Jazz Points Ibiza). Longtime friends Joel Chriss and David Moss, along with business partner Adam Lenox, established the Ibiza Jazz Fest following the success of the Hamptons event. Chriss commented, "We are excited to welcome new perspectives and energy to this incredible event, now in its fifth year. The Sass Sisters bring a rich history in the jazz music industry, as their father was a jazz musician and enthusiast." The Sass Sisters added, "As children, we were required to listen to jazz, but as adults, we both choose to. Being part of such pioneering events in two beautiful locations is a dream come true. Our father would have been so proud."
