We had heard Ian play a few times at various venues in Ibiza, loved his style of music so we asked him to play at a private party a few years back in Ibiza. Everyone loved the music, very diverse! Ian's sets are flawless and he always puts on a great night. He has the ability to judge a crowd and the type of music to play and even when busy he is both able to DJ and interact which is a must in a small venue like Whiskey Ginger. One night on my way home from a gig I stopped in somewhere for a kebab and ended up with a DJ for life. That night I asked DJ - FK if he would come and do a warm up for me at my hugely successful party Hanky Panky, in the Nelson Room at The Trafalgar Tavern in Greenwich, London. He was only 18 or 19 but absolutely smashed it and then became a resident DJ. Since starting with warehouse parties in 1980 I’ve worked with loads of DJs like Chocy and DJ Harvey, Kid Batchelor, Marshall Jefferson and now Ian. In recent years we’ve DJed together as a duo for private parties. He plays a unique blend of music, always mixed well. He’s a very reliable and professional DJ, and now one of my best friends.
