Jazz Point Ibiza put our island on the international jazz map by bringing some of the biggest names in the business to perform here in March 2020. The 2021 edition of this annual celebration of jazz will be here in October 15th and 16th at Can Ventosa in Ibiza Town. On each night there will be two different bands performing and the shows will start at 21:00. October 17th there will be a free concert in Can Ventosa starting at 13:00.
The festive mood will begin on October 14th with a musical dinner party at Pikes Ibiza (reservations only) It will feature the Muriel Grossmann Quartet with a special guest performance by Friday’s Jazz Point headliner Alice Zawadski.
Once again, David Moss and Adam Lenox of the Ibiza Music Agency have worked with Joel Chriss Productions of New York to bring international jazz stars to entertain us on these very special nights.
The organizers of Jazz Point Ibiza are dedicated to making our island an important part of the international jazz scene. Ibiza is a natural place for this, as it is in perfect sync with the essence of jazz - the freedom to create special music with spontaneous improvisation. This sounds a lot like the “people of Ibiza” who have come here for the freedom to express themselves in unconventional ways. Jazz and Ibiza - a match made in Heaven.
